Here are the board of l’APADY. We are happy to represent and help you with your family school education.
Native of France, but Canadian by naturalization for 15 years. I moved to Yellowknife in 2011 and really happy to be a Yellowknifer. I participated actively with most of the French association in Yellowknife. Board members of l’APADY since 2012, my first mission was to tighten the links with La Garderie Plein Soleil where I worked and to be more involved in the community. Even if I do not work anymore for La Garderie Plein Soleil, I decided to continue contributing with L’APADY because of the team dynamism and the positive effects the actions l’ APADY take for the families and the rest of the French community.
Native of New Brunswick, it’s been already 22 years since I moved to Yellowknife. I join several committees since my arrival like La Garderie Plein Soleil, the FFT, of which the board of CA of the Day nursery Full Sun, that of the FFT, the Regroupement des parents Francophones du TNO, the CNPF, the CTPP, le Collège du TNO, Allain St-Cyr parents comity and of course l’APADY. I am proud of being Acadians and I want my children to be educated and live in French in this magnificent city of Yellowknife.
Originally from Ottawa, I arrived in Yellowknife in 2008 and joined l’APADY Board of Directors. Since then I have filled many positions such as President, Vice-President and Treasurer. I also sat on the Board of Directors of the FFT and currently the delegate representing NWT on the Board of Directors of the CNPF. I am proud of my involvement in the francophone community in Yellowknife, NWT and National levels.
